Certification of service conformity according to the UNI 10891:2000 Standard “Services – Security companies – Requirements” is necessary to enable private security companies to operate.
This Standard defines the service requirements, indicating for each type (patrol, guard, prevention of unauthorized entry and theft and other) the way it is to be performed, minimum technical equipment and service control method by both the client and the security company.

Service Steps and Team
- The certification process consists of the following phases:
- Initial audit to assess compliance with the requirements of the Standard, analyzing both the structure of the document system (procedures, service instructions) and the operativeness of the organization (provision of human resources and materials and control of the service given)
- Following the positive outcome of the initial audit, a certificate of compliance will be issued
- An annual maintenance audit (12 and 24 months from the initial audit)
- A renewal audit, within 36 months of the initial audit, to renew the three-year certificate.
